A few weeks ago, I mentioned that a “revenge porn” bill had made its way out of the Senate and was heading to the House. It has now passed out of the House Criminal Jurisprudence Committee having been reported favorably and without amendments. The next step is for it to be voted on by the House, and if the House approves it, it goes to the Governor for his signature. If he then signs it, it will become law, taking effect on September 1, 2015.
